Peace Lutheran Church in Charlottesville is hosting a juried exhibit of artwork that expresses the theme “Genesis”. The exhibit runs from February 3 to March 31, and is open to all artists.
An artist may enter up to two 2-dimensional (“hanging”) works, including photography, weighing no more than 25 pounds.
Entry requires submission of an entry form (attached) and a check for $15 for one work, or $25 for two, written to Peace Lutheran Church.
Submission must be received by January 26th.
Art will be juried by the chair of the art department at PVCC and an artist who owns an art gallery in Charlottesville.
Awards include
- $100 – First Place
- $75 – Second Place
- $50 – Third Place
A non-monetary award of People’s Choice will be given as a result of viewer voting during the exhibition. Winning
