Here's another one that I would enter if it were eligible. This was at Belle Isle (on the James in Richmond) in early 2011. I was just getting started with photography; I just now straightened it and gave it a bit more color and sharpening. I wish it had a bit more distance in front of Meredith. There was a bit more behind her but I cropped it out to get her out of the middle of the picture and also to clean up the upper left corner where there was another tree. Also, there was a bit more foreground but I cropped it to take out a distracting rock, yet leave a bit of water in front of the rock she was on to give a greater sense of separation.
