Photoshop for Lightroom Users

In our peer review sessions we've talked about the benefits of being able to make enhancements to a photo in Lightroom and then move it into Photoshop to fix things that LR isn't able to. To help you learn what you need to know in a more focused way, the club is hoping to offer you a full tutorial on this subject.

The best way to learn to use Photoshop for some of the most common photo-editing techniques is to get together with an instructor and work directly on your own laptop. While we wait for the day this again becomes possible, we will work toward finding someone who can come to Charlottesville and teach the class at a reasonable price.

In the meantime, keep attending the Zoom peer review meetings for mini-lessons, and check out the Web for online instruction. One good tutorial I just came across this morning can be found at: https://www.behance.net/live/videos/6403/Photography-Masterclass-Photosh....

Hello, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has been responsible for creating and running our Zoom meetings. I appreciate so much your time and effort. It has meant so much to me during these strange times.

I think thanks should at least be directed to Gerry Bishop and Bill Shaw, though others may also be involved.
I agree with Harriette- getting zoom up & running has been a real life saver for our camera club.

100% agree with both Jay and Harriette. Thank you Gerry and Bill (and those working behind the scenes).

Thanks for the kind comments, folks, but most of the credit for getting us started with Zoom has to go to Bill, who has taught me all that I know about using it.
