Fall Trip to Henricus Historical park?

Testing to see if there is any interest in me setting up a field trip to another site very few people know about. - Henricus Historical park. (late September early October) This county attraction is an extremely well done reconstructed settlement of the 1600's village created by those who left Jamestown for better conditions. Buildings are authentic and reenactors tell stories. Think Frontier Culture Museum cir. 1650. I can arrange for .lunch together and possible get we special access though its never really busy The park also abuts State Wildlife preserve with ducks, eagles ospreys in the tributary. You also pass by Dominion Electric plant...pipes, towers, generators.

Here's the "Rub"...It is an hour and a half drive from Charlottesville downtown making it an all day event. Let me know at stankaslusky@comcast.net if you would be interested and I'll float some dates.

Yes. I was there about 10 years and I have been thinking about going back. Lots of photo opportunities.

Stan, thank you for the suggestion. It looks like a very interesting site! I would be interested and could probably make it after Sep. 23rd.
